Historical Swordsmanship in the 15th Century - The Flower of Battle

What are historical european martial arts (HEMA)?

HEMA stands for Historical European Martial Arts.

European historical martial arts, based on the writings of masters in the sword schools of Europe from the Middle Ages and later periods, from the 14th to the 19th centuries.

In recent decades, a global community of researchers and practitioners have revived the ancient techniques. Today, historical fencing is a growing discipline in which fencers compete and train with modern, safe equipment, using a rich variety of historical weapons.

We sparr and work with leading fencers in the world, in order to bring accumulated experience to the local community.

Our training is full contact (with sparring matches in each session), with modern and safe protective equipment, and in a relaxed and egalitarian atmosphere.
